With Halloween upon us, it can be very hard to avoid having a piece (or two…or ten) of candy during this week and the days following. What many of us understand however, is that while Reese’s Cups, Kit Kats, and Sour Patch Kids may taste amazing, they might not be all that great for us at the end of the day. Still though, in the spirit of Halloween and trying to live a life where we can still enjoy things in moderation, we here at Fit Club think its always okay to indulge in sweets, but while aiming to try out some healthier options. Complete Candy Alternative
The first option to satisfy our sweet tooth can always be trying “Nature’s Candy” and having a bowl of grapes, berries, or melon to hold you over when the candy craving hits. Other options also include purchasing some dried fruit (apples, mangoes, apricots, bananas).
DIY Candy Alternative
Some of us like to be able to make things on our own with much less calories, carbs, and artificial sweeteners than the candy’s we’ve come to know and love.
