Madelyne “Maddie” Clark is from Monroe, Louisiana, where she began her formal competitive dance training and graduated from the University of Louisiana at Monroe with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. After spending a year as a physical therapy technician, Madelyne soon moved to New York to continue her dance training at The Ailey School as a scholarship student and member of the Ailey Student Performance Group. Training at such a high level caused Maddie to struggle with several injuries which gave her the opportunity to gain an even deeper understanding of the education, rehabilitation, and empowerment that physical therapy can give. Since graduating, Maddie has used her expertise in both dance in and her degree by educating young aspiring artists in public education and performing in companies such as TORCH Dance Theatre, Dance Boissiere, and Somos Candela. Maddie is excited to continue on in her journey to marry exercise science, therapeutic methods, and athleticism in the arts while at Fit Club NYC. During her free time you can find Maddie in the streets social dancing, hanging out with friends or watching Love Island UK.
