Zeyad Elamrousy

Background

Dr. Zeyad Elamrousy graduated from LIU with a Bachelor of Science in Sport Science and a minor in Health Science and later on transferred to obtain his Doctor of Physical Therapy at NYIT. Zeyad found his love for PT in being a soccer athlete and going through injuries of his own over the years. This has allowed Zeyad to connect with many athletes to assist them in getting them back to what they love to do, no matter what level.

Professional approach

Zeyad started off as a faculty personal trainer at LIU working with the D1 soccer team and later on developed a professional focus that consists of performing functional movement screens to determine movement pattern dysfunctions that may lead to various injuries.

PERSONAL LIFE

Outside of the clinic, Zeyad loves to go fishing every chance he gets and enjoys spending time with family and friends. He also has a great interest in cooking and trying out different cuisines. Zeyad enjoys travelling abroad during his vacations and experiencing different cultures firsthand.
